City of London event venue The Dutch Hall is a historic venue available for event hire in London EC2. A beautifully renovated church in the heart of the City of London, the history of the Dutch Church dates back to 1550 when Edward VI gave permission to the Dutch, French and Flemish refugees to take shelter and live in the Church. The original building was sketched by Dutch Master Van Gogh during his time in London at the end of the 1800s.

Weddings
As a wedding venue in London, The Dutch Hall event venue offers the unusual combination of being licensed to conduct church weddings, to register weddings in its Church Register and be able to hold wedding receptions in the same venue. You’ll need to contact the Church direct for the religious ceremony whilst we’ll take care of anything related to the receptions and dinners. Austin Friars is tucked discreetly away off Old Broad Street in the heart of the historic City of London and it’s perfect for any weddings from 50 to 180 guests.
